Banned from casinos worldwide, Harry Milas is a master of deception whose unparalleled skill with a deck of cards has made him both a legend and a thorn in the side of the gambling underworld. Recognised as Australia’s foremost sleight-of-hand specialist, Harry now brings his controversial expertise to the stage in The Unfair Advantage, a show that blurs the line between performance and confession.

This is no ordinary act. With only 35 tickets per performance, audiences are granted exclusive access to the secrets of professional card cheating, techniques so refined they’ve earned Harry a lifetime ban from gaming halls across the globe, and, ironically, made him a trusted advisor to casino security teams tasked with catching fraudsters. The experience begins with a legal confidentiality agreement, a binding reminder that what happens in the room stays in the room. Once signed, Harry guides spectators through a shadowy world of misdirection, stacked decks, and psychological manipulation, revealing tricks that have fooled pit bosses, high rollers, and law enforcement.

Please note: On arrival you will be asked to sign a legal Confidentiality Agreement. Please bear this in mind when electing to take part. No latecomers will be allowed into the performance due to the nature of the event, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time of the performance.

The show will be on the 5th floor @sohoplace, which is accessible via our lifts.

You’ll join Harry around the table for about 60 minutes, but do give yourself time to stay afterwards as Harry will offer you the opportunity to stay at the table and ask questions after the show. No latecomers will be allowed into the performance due to the nature of the event, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before the time of the performance.
Age Recommendation
Audiences 12 years and older are welcome, but note that The Unfair Advantage addresses card cheating. The legal age for gambling in the United Kingdom is 18+. We understand sensitivities vary from person to person.

Harry Milas

Harry Milas is Australia’s leading sleight of hand artist and magician, based in Sydney. His signature close up show THE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE won the award for Best Magic and garnered five-star reviews at The Adelaide Fringe, the largest arts festival in the southern hemisphere and has been in residence at the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon since the beginning of 2023.

He regularly combines his work in magic and theatre as both a performer (Bondi Festival seance, Red-Line Productions Cascadia) and consultant having created the magic for Belvoir’s Master and the Margarita and Red Line Production’s Just! His TV appearances are extensive and include the Today Show, Channel 10, ABC and The Disney Channel.
