The Stage | Future of Theatre Conference 2025

About The Conference

The UK’s most exciting and inclusive theatre conference is back for 2025!

Future of Theatre conference, in association with Moore Kingston Smith, will return to @sohoplace on Wednesday, April 30, to discuss the most pressing issues facing theatre today and creative ideas for the future.

Co-programmed by The Stage’s deputy editor Matt Hemley, and cultural policy & research consultant Amanda Parker, this agenda-setting conference will provide insights on the theme of survival. With panels tackling issues such as free speech, crisis management, and alternative funding, and a keynote from the National Theatre’s director designate Indhu Rubasingham – this is one day you’re not going to want to miss.

For the third year running, Future of Theatre will be a hybrid event, available for both in-person and online delegates.
